At home, "the delivery of modern Western tanks might contribute to Russia's decision to launch a second wave of mobilisation" of conscripts. - Not a silver bullet -Kyiv has since December been asking for around 300 Western tanks that would allow it to launch counter-offensives against Russian forces occupying its territory. That means that tanks alone are not a wonder weapon that will win the war for Kyiv.

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) – Some children’s hospitals around the country are being overwhelmed with patients suffering from respiratory illnesses. For the last few weeks, Connecticut Children’s Hospital in Hartford has been over capacity as more and more young children have been admitted for RSV. All of those were full this morning.”At Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital, RSV cases in the emergency department nearly doubled in the last week, going from 57 to 106. With the Connecticut Children’s Hospital already at its max capacity, Salazar also worried influenza could put them over the edge. He expected flu cases would increase significantly in the coming weeks and over the holidays.

During each of his four years on the council, Dacey has voted for the county to lower its property tax rate of $1.06 per $100 of assessed value to the constant-yield property tax rate. The constant-yield rate is the real property tax rate necessary to generate the same revenue from year to year. Adopting this rate would have decreased county tax revenue by $13 million for the last fiscal year.
