Tyson Fury launches into Oleksandr Usyk ringside after routine victory over Derek Chisora

Our FREE newsletter will keep you ahead of the gameTyson Fury celebrated his all-too-easy victory over Derek Chisora by grabbing the microphone and calling out fellow heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk who was ringside at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. After the referee looked to consult with Chisora's corner before the beginning of the 10th round, it didn't take long more for him to step in once again. Fury paid tribute to Chisora before launching into an astonishing tirade against Usyk - the triple heavyweight champion who many had fancied would fight Fury in December of this year. Fury invited Usyk up towards the ropes and the Ukrainian obliged before Fury went off on a tangent as he goaded his rival. The Ukrainian stood silently and stared Fury down as he launched into his attack.

It means Arsenal equal the win record they set in 2018 which was then matched by Manchester City in 2021. With the win, Jonas Eidevall’s side have now scored at least two goals in 11 of their last 12 matches. But though Liverpool made a bright start in front of a record crowd of 3,348, Eidevall’s decisions were soon justified. Eidevall sent on Miedema 13 minutes from time but the final chance fell to Mead, denied by Laws from close range in stoppage time.

Jesse Marsch on borrowed time with Leeds in downward spiral after Fulham defeat

This damaging loss by Fulham plunged Leeds into the bottom three for the first time this season and they are two points below the safety line. All three Fulham goals came from Leeds errors and whatever Marsch is doing all week on the training pitch, it clearly isn’t working. It increasingly looks like Marsch’s Elland Road reign has gone past the tipping point and Leeds are locked in a downwards spiral. Marsch has managed just one point from six games and Marcelo Bielsa was sacked in February for a similar run. But Leeds are a mistake waiting to happen and sure enough they dropped a clanger to allow Fulham to level just six minutes later.

Max Verstappen sailed to his 13th victory this season at the United States Grand Prix after an epic battle at the Circuit of the Americas to bring home this year’s constructors' championship title for Red Bull. Just two weeks after his title win, Verstappen fought his way to the chequered flag after a slow pitstop hampered his early efforts.
