He swayed back sharply from another Chisora right hand bowled over the top and countered with a spiteful backhand of his own. By the third round, Fury was in such command that he could showboat, winding up his backhand before striking Chisora. Manoeuvring his opponent into a corner in the ninth round, Fury teed off with heavy punches. To turn things around in the 10th round, Chisora needed a punch that he was never going to find.

Regulators in India have approved a nasal vaccine, another needle-free approach, but it has yet to be rolled out. The vaccine, developed in the U.S. and licensed to Indian vaccine maker Bharat Biotech, is squirted in the nose. Chinese authorities also have not mandated vaccination — entering an office building or other public places requires a negative Covid 19 test, not proof of vaccination.

Division One clubs defy ZIFA over National League

The Banda-led ZIFA board, which is not recognised by the world football governing body FIFA, recently revealed that its executive committee had resolved to establish a National Division One League made up of 16 teams. The planned nationwide division one league would subsequently become the new feeder of the top-flight league while the existing regional leagues would be relegated to third-tier league status. In a letter to acting ZIFA chief executive Xolisani Gwesela, the clubs speaking through the chairpersons of the four regional division one leagues rubbished the move. They said the fast-tracked move to establish a National Division One League was done without consideration of the contractual agreements that the clubs and the regions had entered into with sponsors and players. For avoidance of doubt Article 10, merely provides for the membership of a National League once it has been established.

Belgium, a former colonizer of Rwanda, also asked the country to stop supporting the M23 rebels earlier this month. It has denied having the backing of Rwanda’s armed forces. Rwanda in turn has accused Congo of backing another armed group in eastern Congo, the FDLR, a Hutu group opposed to Tutsi influence. The U.N. Security Council on Tuesday, while extending the peacekeeping mission in eastern Congo, demanded the immediate withdrawal of the M23 rebels.
