New Delhi: Sports brand Adidas has terminated its partnership with rapper Kanye West over his anti-Semitic comments in a move it estimates will impact its bottom line by up to $246 million this year alone, 'Variety' reports, quoting a company statement released on Tuesday. The sneaker brand, referring to West by his 'Ye' pseudonym, said in the statement: "Adidas does not tolerate anti-Semitism and any other sort of hate speech. Earlier this month he posted on social media that, among other things, he planned to go "death con 3 on Jewish people". This was followed by an appearance on Revolt TV's "Drink Champs" talk show, where he went on an anti-Semitic tirade. Following West's comments, a banner was hung by a white supremacist group above the 405 freeway in Los Angeles reading "Kanye is right about the Jews".

Infosys Dividend: UK's First Lady Akshata Murty To Earn Rs 64 Crore

Akshata Murty holds 3,89,57,096 Infosys shares, which is 1.07 per cent of the total paid-up capital of Infosys. With the interim dividend announcement of Rs 16.50 per equity share, the net income of the UK first lady who holds 3,89,57,096 Infosys shares would be Rs 64,27,92,084 or around Rs 64.27 crore, the report added. Fixed October 28, 2022 as record date for interim dividend and November 10, 2022 as payout date." In 2021, it paid a total of Rs 30 per share dividend, which would have given Akshata a total of Rs 119.5 crore in that calendar year. Murty earned Rs 126.61 crore ($15.3 million) in dividend income in 2022 from her shareholding in Infosysy, reported news agency PTI.
