Chestnut and fellow competitive eater Matt Stonie recently savaged an order of 100 White Castle sliders in Las Vegas. White Castle hamburger Sliders move down a conveyor belt before being frozen, packaged and shipped to grocery stores at the new White Castle Co. White Castle has also managed to punch above to build a legacy among its many loyal fans in pop culture. The movie "Saturday Night Fever" (1977) featured a scene filmed in a White Castle restaurant, bringing nationwide recognition to the regional brand. Americans are expected to spend about $333 billion on fast food in 2022, according to IBIS World data.

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) – Some children’s hospitals around the country are being overwhelmed with patients suffering from respiratory illnesses. For the last few weeks, Connecticut Children’s Hospital in Hartford has been over capacity as more and more young children have been admitted for RSV. All of those were full this morning.”At Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital, RSV cases in the emergency department nearly doubled in the last week, going from 57 to 106. With the Connecticut Children’s Hospital already at its max capacity, Salazar also worried influenza could put them over the edge. He expected flu cases would increase significantly in the coming weeks and over the holidays.

During each of his four years on the council, Dacey has voted for the county to lower its property tax rate of $1.06 per $100 of assessed value to the constant-yield property tax rate. The constant-yield rate is the real property tax rate necessary to generate the same revenue from year to year. Adopting this rate would have decreased county tax revenue by $13 million for the last fiscal year.
