There are significant rumors going around on the potential sale of WWE. The rumor is that WWE is being sold to the Saudis, and that WWE will go back to being a private company. Muehlhausen added that some people are speculating on a return to creative by Vince McMahon, who was named the Chairman of the Board earlier this afternoon. Cassidy Haynes of Bodyslam reported that the sale is done and WWE will be going private. The potential WWE sale could be similar to the LIV Golf organization, which is a professional golf tour that is financed by the Saudi’s Public Investment Fund, the sovereign wealth fund of the Kingdom.

MJF is doing MJF things, which you don’t really need to hear to know what it’s about specifically, but you get the idea. This is a high-caliber wrestling match, but that’s hardly the point. Jay tries to jump off the turnbuckle onto Mark through the timekeeper’s table, but Mark gets wind of it and does it himself. Mark gets a minute to say some words into the camera, and when he turns around, the locker room empties out.

AEW Dynamite Viewership and Key Demo Rating for the First Episode of 2023

This is down 7.94% from last week’s 365,000 18-49 viewers that the 0.28 key demo rating represented, according to Wrestlenomics. The first Dynamite of 2023 drew just under the 2022 average, which was 955,711 viewers per episode and a 0.34 key demo rating per episode over 52 episodes. Wednesday’s Dynamite viewership was down 1.36% from last week, while the 18-49 key demo rating was down 7.14% from last week. The Five topped the night on cable in viewership with 3.498 million viewers, also drawing a 0.22 key demo rating.
