They've all scored more Premier League goals than Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah this season. Outside the Premier League, he's averaging a goal a game, but that overall record is somewhat misleading. Salah is averaging the fewest shots per 90 (3.21), expected goals per 90 (0.48) and penalty-box touches per 90 (7.33) of his Liverpool career. While the positive underlying numbers have fallen, he's on course for a Liverpool career high in that department. In 2020/21, when injuries decimated the Liverpool ranks, Salah put the team on his back and led them to an admirable top-four finish.
