At middleweight, Smith sees beating Chris Eubank Jr on Saturday night as the first step to becoming world champion in another division. Nevertheless, he is reluctant to see this weekend as a battle of boxing families, however much weight the Eubank name carries. “The Eubank name, through his dad has been special,” Smith tells i . “I think that’s just Chris trying to play games, trying to put anything I do which could come across dirty he’s trying to put it in their heads already.
