As for the party itself, it is worth noting that the Golden Globes did not pretend to be normal, but neither did it treat its whirlwind of controversies with due seriousness. The Golden Globes weren’t broadcast last year because the association, I won’t say it was racist, but it didn’t have a single black member until George Floyd died. This 80th edition of the Golden Globes takes place after its predecessor was not shown on television. But on the red carpet, many were already celebrating the “pleasure” and “honor” of being nominated for a Golden Globe. But caution is needed when congratulating the Golden Globes.
