That result and attacking performance against Palace felt like it might be a little bit of a breakthrough win for Everton. One thing they have had all through the season, which Everton haven’t, is a reliable and prolific goal-scorer in Aleksandar Mitrovic. Let’s hope for a more robust response than we have often seen when Everton have travelled down South. So the question is can the Blues’ can replicate their excellent all-round performance against Palace and grab what would be another important three points?
Pickford produced a wonderful save from Michael Olise shot from a corner in the second half to keep Everton’s lead intact. Coleman made a timely and perfect challenge to dispossess Zaha in the second half. Mykolenko was at it again in the second half, not leaving a chance to advance up the pitch. Gordon finally got his reward for the hard work he had put in, scoring Everton’s second goal. McNeil scored the third goal, creating the goal from midfield, driving forward before playing a beautiful one-two with Iwobi and finally slotting it home to score his second Everton goal.3 months ago Prince Rupert's Tower
NORWICH, ENGLAND - APRIL 10: Sean Dyche, Manager of Burnley inspects the pitch prior to the Premier League match between Norwich City and Burnley at Carrow Road on April 10, 2022 in Norwich, England. Reports in the Daily Mirror claim that the 51-year-old is in pole position to take over as Everton manager, possibly by the end of today. That timetable seems highly unlikely given how notoriously long it takes this club to make decisions and get things done. Meanwhile, talks have been held with both men and Dyche along with the Argentine has impressed the Toffees’ hierachy. Remember that Allardyce’s side finished eighth in the Premier League at the end of that campaign, before he was replaced by Marco Silva.2 days ago Prince Rupert's Tower
Cariboo-Prince George MP Todd Doherty spoke about the brutal physical abuse he and his brothers suffered, during a debate on mental health in the House of Commons. “I know we have made huge strides as a society when it comes to mental health, but we have so much further to go. Prior to the pandemic, in any given year, one in five Canadians experienced a mental health issue.”Doherty said he doesn’t have the solution or all the answers, but urged the government to form a mental health parliamentary committee to study the issue as quickly as possible. Every dollar spent on mental health, returns $4 to $10 to the economy, he added. It wasn’t until 2020 that Doherty and his brothers talked about their past.3 months ago Prince George Citizen
