HEREFORDSHIRE'S Jarrod Bowen’s double helped West Ham move out of the Premier League relegation zone as they beat fellow strugglers Everton 2-0 - but he celebrated in a special way. Bowen’s twin strikes, which lifted West Ham out of the relegation zone, came a day after his partner Dani Dyer announced the news. Another image shows Love Island star Dyer and Bowen, 26, holding each other and a final one sees Dyer cradling her bump with Bowen hugging her from behind. PM tells Taoiseach he wants ‘negotiated outcome’ to NI Protocol

New Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has told Taoiseach Micheal Martin that he would prefers a “negotiated outcome” to issues caused by the Northern Ireland Protocol. The post-Brexit trading treaty, which is fiercely opposed by unionists in Northern Ireland, has led to the collapse of the Stormont Assembly and Executive. “Agreed on importance of EU-UK negotiations to find agreed solutions on the protocol.”A spokesman for the Taoiseach said: “The Taoiseach and Prime Minister Sunak spoke this evening. “They both agreed on the importance of EU-UK engagement to find agreed solutions to the issues around the Northern Ireland Protocol and they discussed ongoing developments in Northern Ireland. “Discussing the Northern Ireland Protocol, the Prime Minister set out that his preference remained a negotiated outcome and hoped all parties would approach the current challenges with pragmatism and goodwill.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex previously announced that a behind-the-scenes docuseries about them is set to be released and the first official trailer has now premiered. Netflix released the trailer which is one minute in length and features never before seen private photographs of the couple. In one part of the trailer, Meghan appears to be wiping away tears with both hands as they stream down her face, while Harry sits and tilts his head right back, seemingly in distress. Russia ‘withdraws officers from Kherson’ ahead of expected Ukrainian advance

The troop movements come as the Ukrainian military said its forces have continued their counter-offensives in the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions. Ukrainian forces are gaining ground near Kherson (LIBKOS/AP)On Saturday, Russian-installed authorities in Ukraine told all Kherson residents to leave immediately ahead of the expected action by Ukrainian troops to take back the city. On Friday, Ukrainian forces bombarded Russian positions across the province, targeting pro-Kremlin forces’ resupply routes across the Dnieper River and preparing for a final push to reclaim the city. In a Telegram post on Sunday, the Ukrainian military claimed to have destroyed 14 Iranian-made Russian drones over the past day. Its facilities have been repeatedly targeted by Russian strikes during the war.

Sunak says Braverman has ‘learned from mistake’ as Starmer demands her sacking

Rishi Sunak has insisted Suella Braverman has “learned from her mistake” as Sir Keir Starmer demanded the Home Secretary’s sacking for her security breach. He was resisting demands to launch an inquiry into Ms Braverman breaking the Ministerial Code by sharing a sensitive document with a Tory backbencher from a personal email without permission. Mark Pritchard, who used to sit on Parliament’s Intelligence and Security Committee, said a “breakdown” in trust between MI5 and Ms Braverman must be “sorted ASAP”. On Friday, Mr Sunak said: “I am confident that our party is united.”Downing Street was forced to insist that Ms Braverman maintains “strong relationships” with the security services. The Mail reported that MI5 played a role in the inquiry after the leak at the time Ms Braverman was attorney general sparked “concern” in the security service.
