The road is not expected to reopen before 6.45pm at the earliest following a collision involving three cars on Monday morning (January 23). The expressway has been reported closed in both directions since approximately 11.20am following the crash, which took place at around 10.30am. Plymouth CityBus has warned passengers of severe delays throughout the afternoon between Plymouth and Cornwall while the road closure remains in place. National Highways reports the diversion routes as follows:Westbound'Road users are advised to follow the solid sqaure diversion symbol on road signs if heading westbound'. A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said that two more people had been taken to hospital following the crash.

Plymouth Argyle pick up hard-earned point against fired-up Bristol Rovers

Prime drink on sale sparks chaos in Plymouth

The Prime Drink was created by YouTube stars KSI and Logan Paul and has since been in huge demand. One Aldi store in Plymouth reported selling out in just three minutes after opening. It was chaos at Aldi stores across the city and PlymouthLive visited two at around 10am for an update on the Prime drink situation. They also said they sold out of the Prime Drinks within just "three minutes." Plymouth is set to welcome an influx of French tourists as it is marketed across the Channel as the go-to destination for a short break. Plymouth’s tourist chiefs are working in partnership; with Brittany Ferries and have nabbed finance from VisitBritain’s GREAT Gateway Innovation Fund, enabling a joint marketing campaign. Brittany Ferries sails from Roscoff to Plymouth once or twice a day from March to November.
